Project 05/2018 - Sponsorship for working with children and youth in the country side area of Vogelsberg-Germany

The members of the Foundation Board concluded to sponsor an education, care and leisure facility for children and youth of the protestant church congregation in Bobenhausen 2/Vogelsberg.The refurbishing work and will be organised by the Church Minister Dr. Detlef Metz. The Dieter and Bettina Wulkow Foundation contributed € 300,-for this project.

On the occasion of a meeting with Minister Dr. Detlef Metz on Oct. 11, 2018, the Board Members could get an introduction of the planned Christian work with children and youth in the congregation Bobenhausen 2/Vogelsberg. He reported that he is doing successful youth work already in a neighbouring municipality Ulrichstein together with a colleague. The children and youth do experience social empowerment by common activities in a Christian community.  His goal is to give access to such care and leisure facility for the children and youth in the congregation in Bobenhausen 2 as well. Therefore he requires to refurbish the facility e.g. to acquire books, toys and among other educative material. He was grateful for the receipt of the contribution and we will inform about the progress of this sponsorship project soon.
