Sponsorship project Safe Haven Struisbaai New Home for disadvantaged and abused children realized by the charitable aid organization Meals on Wheels Struisbaai, South Africa

Visit of Dieter and Bettina Wulkow in Struisbaai

In February 2018 the Board Members Dieter and Bettina Wulkow visited the aid organization Meals on Wheels in Struisbaai, building a new Home for disadvantaged and abused children in Struisbaai.
With the contribution of Dieter and Bettina Wulkow Foundation, the roof construction of the new building “Safe Haven”could be completed. Dieter and Bettina Wulkow had discussions with the Directing Managers and informed themselves of the construction and the situation on site.

Sponsoring of education programme for rural schools in the Eastern Cape Province, South Africa

in cooperation with YOUPSA, Hankey, Eastern Cape, S.A.

In a project partnership with YOUPSA, Hankey, Easten Cape we sponsored an education literacy programme for disadvantaged rural schools to empower pupils. In February 2018, the Board  Members Dieter and Bettina Wulkow visited 2 schools in the Gamtoos Valley in the Eastern Cape region and had been informed by the Managing Directors in School of their facing problems.

GAiN e.V. Giessen-Germany Charitable Work

Campus for Jesus Christ e.V. Giessen

The Dieter and Bettina Wulkow Foundation supports the public relation work of Ms. Christina Schmidt for GAiN Globel Aid Network e.V. Giessen-Germany.  By an amount of 1.000,- € our sponsorship helps to promote the publicity work especially the work of Ms. Christina Schmidt. Christina by her function and donation campaigns generates donations for the international aid projects of GAiN, the humanitarian partner of the aid and missionary organisation Campus for Jesus Christ e.V. Giessen-Germany. She assists with her volunteer public relation work mission the promotion of mission projects for needy children, refugees and poor families all over the world. She mentions with passion: I like very much to write and to edit texts. I love people and the communication. For GAiN and their public relation work I can use my talents for God and humans who are in poverty. For this appeal, I write texts for emails and letters, flyers and other media. In this I tell stories e.g. about Iraqi refugees, poor families in Armenia or about Holocaust survivors in Israel and about more people, GAiN is engaged to help. My emphasis with my work is to touch hearts that I can win more and more  people to help with us to relieve the distress of humans in the world”.

Setting and furnishing of a birth ward in Alupe/West-Kenya

Sub-project in line with the extension and modernization of an university teaching hospital in Alupe, West-Kenya, sponsorded by Support Afrika Germany in collaboration with the German Ministry for Economic and Development (BMZ). This birth ward will be operated by doctors and medicine students of the Moi University El Doret to educate skilled persons e.g. young prospective doctors, midwives and nurses. The Dieter & Bettina Wulkow Foundation has provided for this project a donation of 3.500,- €. Start up will be mid of 2017.

Donation for the Linguni-Hope for the Youth-theatre project in Phalombe, Malawi

With our donation of the amount of 4.000,- € the Dieter & Bettina Wulkow Foundation in partnership with EKARI Deutschland e.V. supports a theatre project of the group Linguni-Hope for the Youth in Malawi. Linguni teaches pupils in schools by theatre performances and comedy sketches in humoristic and mournful ways to help them and other young people in difficult life questions, health care and education motivation.

Donation to the Holy Mission Hospital, Phalombe/Malawi in collaboration with Malawi Med. e.V.

in collaboration with Malawi Med. e.V. a group of medicine students and prospective doctors of the University Heidelberg we have supported their health care and treatment activities of ill children in the Holy Mission Hospital in Phalombe, Malawi.

Donation to the St. Josphs Home for chronically ill children in Montana/RSA

The donation was collected by us and our sub-donors on the occasion of our visit February 13th. 2017 at the St. Jospehs Home in Montana, South Afrika. The St. Jospehs Home with more than 50 nurses, carers, thearpists and volunteer nurses rehabilitate the chronically ill childrend suffering from conditions such as HIV/AIDS, TB, cancer, heart-lung-kidney-respiratory failures, neurological impairments and congentional abnormalities and providing 24-hour nursing care.

Donation of a sun shade port for the Brooklyn Chest Children Hospital in Ysterplaat/South Africa

The Dieter and Bettina Wulkow Foundation have made a contribution for an installation of a new large sun shade sailport for the Brooklyn Chest Children Hospital in Ysterplaat/South Africa. The port is installed at the playground of the bordering school. Now the children protected by this sun shade agains intensiv sunrays can play more outdoors during their pauses.

Alan Titus, Marsh Memorial Homes, Patrick Xhanti and Bettina Wulkow

Begin of March 2015 the board of the Dieter & Bettina Wulkow Fondation had visited the orphanage "Marsh Memorial Homes", Rondebosch, - Cape Town, South Africa and had paid attention to Patrick Xhanti, who is studying IT and business communication. Patrick is supported by the Dieter & Bettina wulkow Foundation since 2012.

Donation to the patrons of the small community project El Doret, Kenya

The Dieter & Bettina Wulkow Foundation have made a 5.100,- Euro contribution for the aid project of the sisters Emily Verbeke and Janet Kemboi. A tractor. which urgently is needed for the fieldwork can now be bought by our contribution. Funding body of our project is the MRV institution of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Darmstadt-Germany.

1000,- Euro donation to the Hospice Mittelhessen, Wetzlar

The Dieter and Bettina Wulkow Foundation has commited a charitable contribution to the Hospice Mittelhessen e.V. Wetzlar.

On the occasion of a fund raiser, under the auspices of the family Filippelli in favour of the Hospice Mittelhessen e.V. Wetzlar, the Foundation has commited 1.000,-- € charitable contribution for their project "Charly & Lotte. This project takes care for grief counselling of children and youth.
