→ moreIn February 2018 the Board Members Dieter and Bettina Wulkow visited the aid organization Meals on Wheels in Struisbaai, building a new Home for disadvantaged and abused children in Struisbaai.
With the contribution of Dieter and Bettina Wulkow Foundation, the roof construction of the new building “Safe Haven”could be completed. Dieter and Bettina Wulkow had discussions with the Directing Managers and informed themselves of the construction and the situation on site.

In February 2018, the Board Members Dieter and Bettina Wulkow visited 2 schools in the Gamtoos Valley in the Eastern Cape region and had been informed by the Managing Directors in School of their facing problems.

By an amount of 1.000,- € our sponsorship helps to promote the publicity work especially the work of Ms. Christina Schmidt. Christina by her function and donation campaigns generates donations for the international aid projects of GAiN, the humanitarian partner of the aid and missionary organisation Campus for Jesus Christ e.V. Giessen-Germany. She assists with her volunteer public relation work mission the promotion of mission projects for needy children, refugees and poor families all over the world. She mentions with passion: I like very much to write and to edit texts. I love people and the communication. For GAiN and their public relation work I can use my talents for God and humans who are in poverty. For this appeal, I write texts for emails and letters, flyers and other media. In this I tell stories e.g. about Iraqi refugees, poor families in Armenia or about Holocaust survivors in Israel and about more people, GAiN is engaged to help. My emphasis with my work is to touch hearts that I can win more and more people to help with us to relieve the distress of humans in the world”.

Sub-project in line with the extension and modernization of an university teaching hospital in Alupe, West-Kenya, sponsorded by Support Afrika Germany in collaboration with the German Ministry for Economic and Development (BMZ). This birth ward will be operated by doctors and medicine students of the Moi University El Doret to educate skilled persons e.g. young prospective doctors, midwives and nurses. The Dieter & Bettina Wulkow Foundation has provided for this project a donation of 3.500,- €. Start up will be mid of 2017.

→ moreWith our donation of the amount of 4.000,- € the Dieter & Bettina Wulkow Foundation in partnership with EKARI Deutschland e.V. supports a theatre project of the group Linguni-Hope for the Youth in Malawi. Linguni teaches pupils in schools by theatre performances and comedy sketches in humoristic and mournful ways to help them and other young people in difficult life questions, health care and education motivation.

The St. Jospehs Home with more than 50 nurses, carers, thearpists and volunteer nurses rehabilitate the chronically ill childrend suffering from conditions such as HIV/AIDS, TB, cancer, heart-lung-kidney-respiratory failures, neurological impairments and congentional abnormalities and providing 24-hour nursing care.
