Project 01/2020 Update Powerhouse for Children in Concepcion del Uruguay, Argentina
On June 29th, 2020 we could visit the Headquarter of the Association Neues Leben South America e.V. in Altenkirchen/Germany to hand over personally our contribution as token gesture for our common aid project “Powerhouse a Children’s Daily Home and Ward”. The Powerhouse takes care for poor, abused and deprived children located in Concepción del Uruguay, an urban region of North Argentina.
The fund raising amount of € 4.000 could be sponsored to support the children in the Powerhouse
for 1 year to give them food, education and social integration in a daily ward.
The Powerhouse is a church and social ward where the children can find a refugee. They do find a safe place of heaven to feel welcome, play and learn with others, have a place to do some sports and can find help with school and home work and a warm meal. Basic features of a family life will be given to those children who either do not have family, do experience domestic violence or suffer from poorness when family members lose their job, get sick or experience other severe destiny in their life. The Powerhouse as a social ward is trying to help the poorest children.
By our contribution, this aid project under the leadership of the Association Neues Leben South America e.V. Altenkirchen/Germany and their missionary partner Iglesia Nueva Vida, located in Concordia and Concepción del Uruguay/Argentina, can be sponsored and supported for 1 year.

We plan to follow up this aid project with a second contribution campaign / fund raising campaign in the year 2021 upon a site visit in Argentina.
