Project Update 06/2024 School Extension Building Girls Dormitory at Insula High School, Sanje, Uganda

The new girls dormitory is finished. Students at the opening ceremony.

Christine Schulze, Celebrate Hope Germany (CHG), recently sent us an update about our funding participation last year at the Christina Insula High School Sanje, Uganda:

Thanks to your generous support and further donations, the girls dormitory could be built and completed (see photos).

We are pleased that you intend to participate in the construction of a school library next year with the Dieter & Bettina Wulkow Foundation (note: our new project 05/2026). I inquired in Uganda about the rooms where the library would be set up, whether additional shelves, etc., would be needed, and which books and other learning materials should be purchased.

I have attached some few photos of the dormitory at Insula Christian High School, which the headmaster sent me. Admittedly, the interior of the dormitory looks a bit chaotic... the space is really being used to its fullest extent.
