Update project 06/2026 Immanuel Congregation Wetzlar e.V.

As previously reported in the news update from May 20, 2026, we were able to provide €1,000 in funding for the Integration and Fairness Camp organized by the Immanuel Congregation Wetzlar e.V., which took place from August 6th to 8th. The projects goal and highlight was to bring local children with different nationalities, religions and coulors together through sharing the joy of soccer, foster a sense of community, and impart Christian values ??such as neighborly love, respect, and harmonious interaction. 

A total of 70 children participated in the camp at the End of their summer holidays. In addition to a soccer training school featuring various joint training sessions and a match where the children played against the congregations 14 dedicated volunteers, an event that brought great joy to everyone. Excellent provisions were made for the childrens meals and refreshments during their stay in the camp. 

During a shared devotional session, the children explored the lives of Toni Kroos, an international well known role football player for fairness and camaraderie both on and off the pitch and Jesus, encouraging them to embrace these human values. This initiative was a resounding success, clearly reflected in the soccer matches played together. The childrens parents often attended as well, delighted to see their children experiencing such positive social interaction. 

Thanks to our donation, children and families from diverse social and cultural backgrounds were able to come together, experience community, and learn about important values ??such as respect, neighborly love, and solidarity.
