Funding Project 02/2026: Support for schooling at an Anandalok primary school in Bangladesh

In cooperation with Netz e.V. Gießen, we covered the costs for a school class at an Anandalok primary school in Bangladesh for one year, starting in early 2026. In doing so, we focused specifically on supporting girls and boys in one of the poorer regions of northern Bangladesh, providing assistance to the Kasim Uddin Anandalok School located on Char Ishorkul in the Rangpur district.

Both Netz e.V. Gießen and our foundation promote equal opportunities and access to education for all children-goals often thwarted in Bangladesh by a combination of factors. In remote and impoverished regions, countless girls and boys are frequently unable to enroll in school or complete their primary education due to a lack of school buildings, teachers, or teaching materials.

We recently received an interim report and update regarding our co-funding of the Anandalok Primary School. We are pleased that our contribution has been used for its intended purpose and that the children are able to receive instruction there.
